Can anyone help me? My TV is showing the information on the left and is not showing any apps. I tried googling but I could not find anything. Contacted TCL and they didn't help either.

Sir which brand i hav same issue . in my case panasonic . go to picture setting in constart press 7 time . system menu appear . then set into shop mode . tv will reset . actually its live tv app issue.

You will google for shop setting for tcl or you simply reset the tv.using menu

Try this.

Enter engineering menu

  1. Go to picture settings - “advanced settings” and select the line “contrast”
  2. Press 6 4 2 5 on remote control (if using a small remote control, press the 4-color button to display the virtual numeric keypad)
  3. The engineering menu appears. PS - Code 9735 and 1950 will bring up another engineering menu.

Reset shop TV Go to the engineer menu 6425 , service menu will popup Reset shop

Reset service menu Go to the engineer menu 1950 , reset all
