Officially no. But you can try sideloading the apk. A guides here; https://androidtvnews.com/watch-xfinity-stream/
They did make the Stream App for Roku in case your using your Shield on a TV that’s running Roku built-in. It’s been in beta for years now and navigating was very slow but usable. It’s been some years since I canceled my tv sub. Just checked though and it’s last update was a month ago. So they’re still supporting it.
Big miss on their part investing in Peacock instead of expanding and enriching their Stream app as an alternative to boxes and competition to the many Sling services out. A truth I think they’re gonna find out in a few years.
That’s not important though lol… sorry for going somewhere else. I really hope you have success sideloading the app.
You can try using ChannelsDVR with their tv sign in integration
I use a HDHomeRun Prime cable tuner connected to my network. It's compatible with Android TV Live Channels and all my cable channels just show up. I also have it connected to Plex for DVR recording and streaming away from home.
The Xfinity stream app can cast
not sure if it'll work on the shield, but on my ccwgtv I sideloaded the Xfinity stream app. it was a bit of a pain to initially get it installed because you need a mouse pointer to get to the login field (there's no combination of arrow buttons that will put the focus on it), so I had to install Android remote as well, but once it was set up it works fine.
