Are there Smart TV that support AVC HIGH 10 and HEVC Format Range hardware decoding?

My current cheap Android TV plays basic AVC and HEVC fine with hardware decoding (I used MX Player to check if HW is possible), however If I try watching video with codecs mentioned in the title my smart tv uses software decoding and is not able to decode them in real time (I get half the framerate).

I am looking for tv that can hardware decode those codes.

So plug the good Android TV into the TV? The computers built into smart TVs are always obsolete garbage long before the screen itself stops being useful.

Your best choice is probably the Nvidia shield then

no, there aren't any TV with enough CPU power for decoding h264 Hi10p.

Buy nvidia shiled o apple tv external box or convert to h.265 10 bit is very easy with ffmpeg (any TV can playback it).

If the Shield is not an option, you should try to transcode or reencode yourself.

EDIT: based on this review , Shield 2019 can play Anime AVC 10-bit software without problems but I don't know what they used to test whit.

For what it's worth, I have some AVC High 10 bit episodes of the Simpsons that I backed up from DVD years ago. They play on my Shield through Plex without transcoding just fine.
