I'm trying to get my kids (7 and 5) to experience my childhood classics on SNES.
I found the ROMS, but I'm struggling with the emulator itself. I downloaded RetroArch but it's really complicated and buggy.
I don't mind spending some time to set it all up correctly, but once ready it has to be easy for the kids (who can't read english).
My setup:
Lemuroid is My absolute favorite, Easy all-in-one emulator. Highly recommended
Get SuperRetro 16 (Snes) and SuperRetro 8 (Nes), simple, easy to use for younger kids.
My go to emulator is RetroArch, don't see myself switching any time soon.
Yeah it's a little complicated to set up but not at all buggy imo and does everything I want it to and more.

Side note: anything on Android TV that will see a SMB share? I can view them with a browser, but RetroArch will not see them.
Thanks for all the responses! I went with SuperRetro 16, which checked all the boxes. My son doesn’t ask for my help anymore which is a good sign.
I haven’t tried all the other options listed here but it’s good to know. I might come back to this if I want to upgrade to N64
Does anyone know if SNES emulators would run fine on Xiaomi Mi TV Sticks as well? the main difference is that the Stick is Full HD while Box S is 4k and it has 2Gb on ram in stead of 1Gb.

Get yourself a Raspberry Pi, a NesPI case, a couple USB Super NES controllers and a copy of Retropie. Load your ROMs on there and you’re off to the races. Trust me, you will have so much fun making it.
