So I have a bunch of movies that I purchased back when Google Movies was a thing, apparently that's no longer a thing but I can access those movies through YouTube or Google TV. They're all 4k movies but when I go to watch any of them they only playback at 720p or 1080p. I'm a little mad cause I spent all this money on 4k movies and can't even watch them. I'm using a Vizio P Series Quantum TV. Any ideas on what to do ?
Does your TV support wideVine level 1 if that's used. Or whatever other DRM is used. Or the proper Hardware to decode whatever codec Google uses..
That's a nice TV but Vizio needs to stop it with the Smart Cast. Get yourself a decent device. You don't even have to spend more than $30 to get someting that can cover all your streaming needs. Movies Anywhere is another option but it may not have all your movies.
Have you tried playing them with Vudu?
Not sure what your referring to When you say google movies but google play movies still exists and will probably have your full library in 4K just download the app if it’s not already installed
Do other youtube 4K videos play at 4K resolution? Do you have good internet speed?
