I got a TCL android tv (model:50P616), and I went and checked the developer mode and one option turned my screen black the option name is "Simulate secondary displays" and of course I turned 4k option on and as I mentioned it earlier my screen went black and I don't know what to do. Please help *And now I noticed that my remote doesn't work as well.

Edit: With all of your help I managed to fix it, the combination of buttons are as follows: power button, than the volume button down, afterwards the volume button up and at the end the mute button.

Thank you all for helping me

See if your tv lets you boot into safe mode. There can be different button combinations depending on your TV. So look it up for TCL or try calling them. Some Android TVs you Hold the Power button to power off, then you hold the OK button until a Safe Mode message appears. Other TVs you Hold the Power botton to Power off and then hold the volume down button. Other TVs can have other methods. Try either of those or find out what TCL uses to boot into safe mode. Then disable the screen setting and turn off dev options and reboot regularly.

Did you unplug the TV and plug it back in?

did you try holding the power button for 30secs for the tv to restart

The TCL Roku TV's have a small reset button where all the connectors are, have you looked there? It's right at the top and you'll need a paperclip or similar if you find it.

I accidentally did that on my sansui 50" ATV panicked hitting buttons on the remote it eventually recovered by safe booting and had to reinstall android OS... I had options in the factory menu that would no longer work after that happened
