GamePad on Mi Box S

Hi,

I have just bought a Xiaomi Mi Box S witch is the first Andoid TV I have tried besides chromecast.

So fare I am happy with the box, and all the apps, and streaming services are working.

I have now bought a Gioteck VX4 wireless GamePad. But I cannot for the love of me get it to connect.

Since it is a PS4 compatible controller I cannot see why it should not work, but cannot find any documentation on this controller and my specific Mi Box S.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

xbox controllers were only compatible about 1 1/2 years ago on Android 9, does the controller work with your phone? and what version Android is on your phone?

The Mi Box S doesn't support even some models of the original Ps4 controller. An aftermarket one probably won't work either. I have one of those old Moga controllers that work fine though.
