So I bought Chromecast with Google TV, and I was surprised on how limited their app store is (you can't get stuff like stremio, and you can't even get Google Chrome!!! wtf..) I want a box that gives me the freedom to download whatever and do whatever. I have some ideas so if you guys can help me decide (or point out a better box around the $50 range) that would be awesome!
Mecool KM2, its fully certified by Netflix, Amazon and the such, works like a charm, has 2 Usb ports, one of them usb 3, has 5G wifi and in the event your wifi is 2.4G it has an 10/100 ethernet port that smokes slow wifi connections, it also has a micro sd card so you can expand the inner storage, a pretty well rounded device
Why spend more money? Just sideload the Aurora Store and mouse toggle and you'll have access to every single app on the play store.
We use a TiVo Stream 4K in our living room. I bought a USB-C/USB adapter and plugged in with a 32gb thumb drive to expand memory. Love this thing. The remote is well made and with rubber buttons.

The Tivo and the Ematic are Google certified devices, the other two are not, The Tivo has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support, the Ematic only HDR10, the Tivo has a newer SoC unlike the Ematic.

Those T95 things are not "Android TV" boxes. They're those "Android TV Boxes" that basically run the phone version of Android and they're terrible in many ways.
Chrome isn't available for Android TV because they don't have a version that is designed to work with a remote on a TV. You can sideload many apps and try them out on real Android TV but some won't play nice.
