Bluetooth ir remote

by Talg10

I have a mi box s which is controlled with the default mi remote and a Samsung sound bar and a Nintendo switch

I have hdmi cec enabled on all the devices and the on/ off function works great but the problem is that the mi box can’t control my sound bar so I bought a universal Bluetooth remote from AliExpress with ir programming function but the problem is that only the power button is programmable

So are there any universal remotes that will solve my problem that doesn’t cost so much like the Logitech harmony Pls help

[edit] the goal is to only use one remote for the mi box, the sound bar (only the volume buttons) without hdmi cec

u want to control the mi box s and the samsung sound bar in the same controller?

The MiBox has a USB port, yes? The solution is to drop Bluetooth as a requirement. Buy a FLIRC, and use any generic programmable IR remote.

Did you try ALL the Samsung codes in the remote? There are lists around the Internet, or your remote came with a booklet full of codes. Who knows when that was printed? It could be very outdated, or more codes were added. You just need the better code.

Sofabaton U1 controller will work.
