Setting up storage

by [deleted]

Ok, I have an Android TV that I just put a 32 gig flash drive into. It's set as external storage and I migrated all the apps. Now the problem I'm having is downloading new apps. I get an error saying there's not enough storage. Should I set up the drive as internal, and the apps would install on the drive instead by default, or should there be a setting to set it as the default that I'm somehow overlooking? You'd think all this would be a breeze for a long time android user. Lol

Set the Flash Drive as Internal Storage if you intend to never remove the drive. You can only install apps to a flash drive if it is installed as Internal Storage. When it is installed, the device should ask if you want to use it for all new apks that can, not all can be moved. ("Apks" is the file extension. It just means Android App.) You might also have to tell each app to move to the new drive if the app was installed before you installed the drive.
