Basically the title, I wanna control my android tv with my phones Google assistant and not the one on my tv if that makes sense. The nearest i got was realizing that i had to install Google home on my phone and then connect the tv but i dont think it is supported by android tv (it only supports Google tv AFAIK). Anyone have any ideas?
google is pretty much inferior to alexa in smart tv control. Alexa can do play/pause/swipe up down left right/ go home/go back on firetv. Seems google home could not do these
