Tv suddenly disconnected from wifi

So I have this problem every few months or so where I’ll be watching something in a streaming service and suddenly my tv just gets a pop-up saying “not connected to wifi”. The stream stops after a minute or so and I go to settings to reconnect (on home there’s also a notification that I need to connect to a network).

When I click wireless settings and let it search for networks it searches for a while but then nothing comes up. No networks at all (there are plenty around, normally).

What can I do to fix this? I don’t want to have to set up all my accounts again and again every time this happens.

You'll need to provide a lot more detail, I'm afraid. Make / model of the TV etc. Have you googled the specific issue against your name and model of TV? What about against the make and model of your wireless access point?

So are you saying that when this problem happens, you end up factory resetting the TV to get around it?

A good old restart should fix it, rather than a reset. You can access the restart option from settings -> power, or most TVs give you a shutdown / reboot prompt when you hold the power button on the remote down for a number of seconds. Failing that, literally pulling the power plug out and waiting 30 seconds or so should do it.
