As in, can you opt out of any data collection of your usage habits? I know every tech company is collecting our data, I just like to avoid it when I can and it seems like it is increasingly hard to avoid Android TV sets.
In an ideal world TVs that had great picture but weren’t “Smart” would be available, but that doesn’t seem to be the case!
Don't connect your TV to wifi or ethernet. Don't log into it with your Google account. You will likely lose all of it's functionality, but you won't be turning over any information.
