Go to settings, apps, scroll and find the play store, scroll to the top right and select manage apps, you'll probably have 10-13 app updates. One of them will be Google tv and another will be TCL home. Once all the updates have finished I would reboot and you should be good!

Its the tcl customized version of google tv it sucks. I have a roku 4k max im using instead
Can’t even use HBO Max. I get in the app but any time I try to play something it just says “oops! Something went wrong. Please restart the app.” And every time I do - same issue. Piece of crap GoogleTV OS being rushed out.
How are the black levels on that tv and any blooming?
