I see there is a power adapter for this device that has an ethernet port. Pricey though. Are there any other compatible adapters with an ethernet port that I can use? I'd love to be able to stream 4k without buffering and in high quality.

I got a 'Wasserstein' adapter on Amazon with type-c charge and ethernet that works well. Any Android compatible adapter and/or hub should work fine.
Kinda wish I had got a hub for USB storage, honestly, but clearing Kodi's cache periodically is no big deal.
A convertor like HDMI to ethernet can be an option.

Seems like connecting the Chromecast with Google TV on WiFi is faster than using an Ethernet cable. So I just use WiFi now.
I used the same Ethernet adapter and cable connected to my PC to test the speed, the PC speed goes up to 900Mbps, so the problem is not with the ethernet adapter and cable, but with the Chromecast with Google TV somehow.
There are USB-C hubs with Ethernet and power passthrough. I bought one branded Vemont that works fine even with the included power adapter.
Other brands might require you to buy another power adapter (like Belkin).
