I'm more pissed that the Android TV Remote Control app cannot input text into YoutTube/Netflix/Prime search bars. I mean WTF. I fucking hate trying to type using the TV's physical remote.
This is honestly disgraceful. Google isn't paying attention. My next soundbar and home speaker will be Sonos. Better to give money to a company that controls their software and prioritizes making their devices work better together.
I'm actually looking to dump Google home. It never works. NEVER compared to how it did before they started changing the software. Now it's literal junk.
I mean there still isn't a Google Photos app....nothing surprises me about how shit the Android TV ecosystem is at this point.

Im lucky. I got a free stadia kit through YouTube so I use a spare Chromecast plugged into my soundbar to add it to the group.
This feature was rolled out in beta last year, don't know if it ever progressed beyond that.
