My TCL TV Started Randomly Flickering on the left Side, and Only the Left Side. Any help with this?

Is it happening in AndroidTV only? Looks like a problem with TV's backlight.

Your backlight is going out. If you can warranty it that should be taken advantage of. I always drop the brightness on new tv's to combat this. Max brightness is like the default and kills tv's that get lots of use that much faster.

The left-backlight is running out of life.

Explanation: Your TV has 2 (or more) backlights on each side, and the ones that are on the left are dying…

If you have warranty, try giving it up for repair.

Brother! IT IS NOT THE LEFT BACKLIGHT !! Its the pixels, they are diagonally blinking in a certain row and column pattern... All the red blue and green pixels in a certain formation... Is blinking in a certain frequency... Which feels like the whole left side is blinking.. I've been having the same problem on my 55P8 too... And weirdly .... IT STOPS!!! AFTER 1 HR OR SO!! IDK WHAT THE HELL IS GOIN ON. I checked it with a macro camera if ur curious how I found out the pixels blinking. The backlight is completely fine.

That's the hidden camera watching you, must have been doing something interesting to get it to take that many pictures in a row 😛
