If you are talking about the HDR performance on Disney+ Hotstar, then yes. They do appear dull than SDR.
HDR usually always needs Picture settings adjusted to fit personal preferences like adjusting Backlight level, Gamma level, Black level, etc.
From Android Authority review, they said turn-on "Movie Profile" and switch-off "MEMC" for best output.
