I'm trying to access a network share or write permission on some external storage to copy files to a USB stick that my MeCool KM2 will use, but I always run into this error:
"this device does not appear to support the android storage access frame"
With the same program I can access the share on my cell phone, and I've formatted the pendrive in fat32 and still nothing.
Is this common on android TV? how to copy files into the system?
Unfortunately, the error spells out the problem. The device doesn't support Storage Access Framework. It's incredibly annoying how many Android TV devices (including the ones made by Google) are missing that implementation. And yeah, without it, it's impossible to write to external drives.
