Any good AndroidTV Streaming sticks?

At home I have both an Amazon fire TV cube and and Nvidia shield TV Pro. I travel a lot (a lot lot) and would like to get some thing for travel without having to carry around a box with me and without having to pack and unpack and set it all up at home every time I get back.

Traveling with the shield just won’t work because it’s way too big. Are there any good Android sticks? All of the reviews have been negative for the ones I can find, either bad Wi-Fi or slow and latent. Last resort I can get a fire stick 4K but I really don’t like the Amazon interface and would prefer to stay with android.

I am using a Mecool KD1 stick. The only downside is that it's not a netflix certified device, but if you only are using it for Kodi/IPTV, then it's decent for it's price/size

The 4K Amazon sticks are the only good sticks. Period. Otherwise just get the ONN 4K box, which is still pretty small, along with a thin HDMI cable.

Enjoyed my Fire TV 4k streaming stick, till my Daughter relieved me of it 😞

I have both the Fire stick and Tivo Stream 4k. The Tivo has the huge advantage of being actually Google TV, which means you can use the Android remote control program. Only $30 on Amazon yesterday--a sale price.

Take a look at the Eko TV dongle on amazon. It's made by a startup based out of Australia. It's google certified, has a very small footprint, and is capable of playing 4k. I've had it for a couple of days and it's been working great so far.

I have a similar dilemma, but I also require the ability to attach an exfat ssd. None of the sticks support this. So I have to truck along my old school Jetstream with it's broken Bluetooth and very short ac adapter. Pita.

My shield stays at home because it forgets how to pass hd audio if I move it.
