I am also lurking here to find a upgrade/replacement of my old box which has been slowly dying. My main thing is sports but movies are nice once in a while. I am not looking for a cheap alternative but just want something that is easy to use, fast, and reliable.

I would stay away from another Chinese box. They don't get security updates and many (most?) have some form of spyware.

Don't buy anything mecool,If you get a deflective box like I did, mecool wants you to send it back at your expense. I didn't order a deflective box and I should not have to pay to send it back. Very expensive from USA to China. Buy from someone that stands behind their product and offers free returns.

I would suggest KM2. Viewed many videos on Youtube, it is the Chromecast with Google TV Killer.
