Can't you just take it off the app recommendations list? Pretty sure there's something to that effect
At the extreme bottom of your homescreen, you should have the option: customize channels. Click on it, it will list things that you can turn off/on. If that's still not to your liking, I suggest you check out the link below and look under the tutorials section.
