ONN 4k Android Box - Does CEC volume works for anyone?

I love the ONN remote so much, I am replacing my shield TVs (multiple) with it.

But the CEC volume into the receiver (Onkyo) doesn't work. The volume buttons just show the "Android TV" volume.

Has anyone got this working? I have tried ONN with the same HDMI cable, same input, and same receiver that the Shield tv CEC is working with.

I hope there's a fix or a software update for this.

You can set up the remote to blast the IR commands for your Onkyo receiver.

Ironically, CEC defines audio volume control as a control only for the TV (not AVR). So in most cases the AVR with (correctly) ignore it.

Just a generally unhelpful fact .......

Do you have an ARC HDMI input on your TV?
