So with a couple different peoples Google account, when I set up a ccwgtv, out of the box it asks me to install plex, disney + etc, but no YouTube. And when I search the store for YouTube to install the app, it's nowhere. But when I set up a ccwgtv using my personal Google account, set up in the same country with the same region, I have YouTube pre-installed after initial setup. I don't know if it's a bug, an account setting for region or something, and if so how do I change it.
Could anyone familiar with this smack some knowledge on me please.
These same Google accounts that are unable to install YouTube on a ccwgtv have no such issue on an nvidia shield or xiaomi mibox s.
The CCwGTV asks to install "streaming services" that you use. YouTube is not a "streaming service" per se.
Also, how is this an issue? YouTube is pre-installed on all certified streaming devices. And you need a Google account to run a Android TV (& Google TV) device.
