I'm assuming this is in the U. S.? *yep, $99 in Canada.
My favorite part of these is much lower power draw than the CCwGTV so I can run it off my portable monitor's internal battery via the USB port for hours of streaming, or hook it into my Nexdock for a portable media center and/or dev station using Termux/chroot apps. Another bonus is you can power it via the microUSB or the USB-C port.
It's a pretty well reviewed device if I recall correctly. Especially the audio capabilities. I'm surprised it never got more traction.
Are they any good? Are they rootable?
Dang, I bought it last week at $20 and then rebought it the other day at $15. One store in the Dayton area had it marked down to $2.
I would imagine the reason is because everyone is moving on to Android TV 10 which requires more processing because they have to support AV1.

Can you install the HDhomerun app on this?
Damn! Got one of these recently at full price.
That said, so far I'm pleased with it, but I don't have a very sophisticated set up.
This a great price. I had bought a new one on eBay for 26 bucks lol.
So there's different upc codes my walmart still shows them at $25.
TBF it has way more storage than the CCwGTV, so every time you update an app you won't have to uninstall something else
my local store had them for 10$ i bought one a few days ago. when i went back today to grab a second one they ring up 15$ now the guy in electronics was even stumped by that one. so i decided to wait on a second one. but this store had a TON of them prob 50 or more on the shelf. they were in the newer packaging then the ones the op showed in the pic with the vertical box style. the previous one i got was the box shown. so maybe a different sku? i dont know.
Is it android tv?
Nvm: it is. You can customize it.
Where is this?
Is it just me or does anyone else have issues with YouTube on it? Sometimes YouTube videos just won't load
Do they do stadia?
Got one for $15 to replace an aging OG Chromecast. Looks like another local Walmart has them cheaper and I may grab another. De-tivoed seems like a great little device
Brickseek showing $15 in my metro area physical Walmarts. ~$30 online.
