Using only a partition of USB flash drive for internal storage?

by 7dLKiwi

I want to extended my internal Android TV storage with a flash drive, however I only need it in certain situations (not what you think lol), so I don't wanna burn all 128 GB just for this purpose but rather a ~40 GB partition of it. However, Android TV formats the whole flash drive upon setting up as storage, erasing and removing all existing partitions and merging them into one.

Are there any workarounds you're aware of?

Thanks

Yes you can do this. But you need to use adb, and it will erase whatever already exists on your drive
