I've had good luck using a usb hub with 64GB stick, plus it also allows for ethernet. I actually love my CCGTV.

It's a shit device that's probably doing them more harm than good. I wonder how many non-tech people just run into the issue and move to a Firestick or something similar.
Would be nice if they could fix it via software so you didn't have to go through these steps. Though, it would also be nice if they just released a model with more memory and a bit more zip. Maybe we'll get version 2 later next year.
