So this is a bit noob question, but manual says nothing about it.
I have Philips 65PUS7805 Smart TV. When i use Chrome or Edge, then it will allow me to cast Youtube tabs to TV (same with phone). But when i want to cast entire desktop, it says this device is not supported.
So what does it mean exactly? Which protocol is it using for casting? Why only Youtube window, and not entire screen? Is it using Miracast or DLNA?
Thanks!
I'm not sure that model is an Android TV. I think it's just a Smart TV. Some apps like Netflix and YouTube will be able to see the TV using DIAL, but the majority of apps won't be able to cast because the TV doesn't act as a Google Cast receiver.
