launcher that can open HDMI?

I need a replacement launcher for my Xiaomi redmi tv so that my mother can use it.

I need it to be able to have an HDMI button on the main screen that she can navigate to and press.

Ideally it would be customisable so that there are no other buttons on the screen that she can get lost in.

I guess I also need it to autostart so that she doesn't have to wrestle with the overly complex Xiaomi menu.

anyone got an idea that would work?

If you tell us why or what it is you are trying to accomplish perhaps there is an easier solution?

Some tv's have a default source that is settable when turning on the tv. Or some tv's remember what source they were on. Why do you need a specific HDMI button?
