I just purchased a Philips TV (model 50PUS7906/12) for my blind father, specifically for the Talkback feature on Android TV. I ordered it online, so I couldn't check, but my friend with an older model has that feature.
I went through every menu for an hour and couldn't find the feature. Every guide tells me to go to the Accessibility menu, then the Captions or Talkback submenu, but I don't have those on my TV. I went to Play Store and installed the Android Accessibility Suite, which shows a screenshot of that menu, but it still doesn't appear on my TV.
I'm thinking that this is an issue with Android TV 10 and that I should return the TV for an older model with Android TV 9. Does anyone have a better idea?
Did the TV not come with a manual? Edit: actually thinking about it I don’t know if the manual covers much these days other than the buttons on the remote. Surely it has it on there somewhere, I want to say it’s a button on the remote that brings up a menu when your watching something
