Updates and Installs Stuck on "Pending..."

Tried to install Paramount+ app yesterday - stuck on "Pending..." Never resolved.

Tried to open Disney+ app today. Would not let me without updating first. Update stuck on "Pending..."

Any app I try to update (there are 21 updateable apps on my TV according to GPStore) is the same thing.

Following all the other online guides I deleted caches for Google Play Store and Google play services. I signed out and back into my google account and restarted TV. I have done all things everyone who has written on this issue has suggested. Still "Pending..."

During troubleshooting I even deleted Disney+ and when I went to reinstall it, sure enough I got stuck on "Pending..."

How much space is remaining on the device? Did you also clear the device cache?

Have you tried rebooting your modem and router?

I had a similar issue with updates failing on my Shield.

I had to power off, disconnect the power supply, then reconnect to power and reboot.

Everything was fine after that.

I had this recently and had to do a factory reset to fix it.

Anyone who finds this thread in the future I just want to fill you in...

None of the suggestions I received here or on other forums worked.

I had to do a factory reset of the TV. Not so bad in my case, just had to reinstall and reconfigure all my apps.
