I have recently bought a Sharp C40bl2kf2ab and was looking forward to using TV apps such as iPlayer and All 4 on demand due to not having an aerial. Having tried to access said TV apps I have been given the error code FVP-300 (I believe due to their link to Freeviewplay, which I am unable to setup due to no aerial to scan for channels). I have seen older posts following similar issues, but was wondering if there was a round this?
Note: I live in a rented basement flat and have tried plug in aerials which aren't able to gain any signal.
If an indoor antenna is not sufficient. You basically need an outdoor antenna or a better antenna. If you check tvfool.com and plug in your height and everything and location. It will pretty much tell you exactly what you need as far as antenna type.
