Can you add a TV to Google speaker group?

Is it possible to add TV (Sony KD-ZD9) with "chromecast built-in " to a Google Home speaker group?

The option is not available on my Google Home app on android.

Is there a solution to this?

Ideally I want to know if it's possibly to play sound through the TV speaker and the Google mini simultaneously.
Would slotting in a Chromecast work?

It has been possible couple of times but it has always been removed after sometime, seems Google has dropped that idea.

I'm also unable add my Sony TV to a speaker group. It does work though with the CC Ultra and the newer CCwGTV.
