Just Got Homatics Box Q seems just like MiBox 4k clone but i have feeling that software is improved. Anyway I have got Logitech Z906 speaker set which only supports DTS and DD. On MiBox I was using kodi to run passthrough for movies and sometimes Netflix.
Good news is that they on contrary what Xiaomi did with MiBox they have implemented native passtrough in Homatics.
Sorry this are not PSC.
So I have tried everything and this does not gives 5.1 DD/DTS sound on output. Only After Enabling:
Select Formats: Manual and DD Plus enabled Netflix is starting to detect 5.1 But Z906 does not light up DECODE LED...
Another thing is that even setting up up Kodi accordingly to
this
with both TV(AC3) and AVR SPDIF
(AC3/DTS) setups which were working on MiBox just fine.
I have tried different cross nativeXkodi configurations assuming one may interfere with another, but no luck.
Any ideas ?
If they removed the SPDIF option that Mi Box has then you are out of luck, can you check?
