Just sideloaded FireFox on the Google TV dongle, and is it just me or using the interface with the Google TV remote is pain in the a** ?? Can't access the menu and typing favorites is just useless. Any suggestions ? Thanks

Yeah keyboard and mouse is your best bet. You can also get a Bluetooth android remote, such as zank remote, that has a mouse pad built in.

You can use the Mouse Toggle app but it's $3 (why is it free on Firestick?). There is a Firefox for Android TV which has a cursor but is no longer supported and is defaced by a banner saying so. That version never supported uBlock Origin so what good is it?
Aside from all the Indian content which you don't really have to see, JioPages is great. The ad blocker is first rate. I tested it on the USA Today home page and it blocked 20 ads. If has a big, smooth, round cursor like Silk's. Make shortcuts to websites using TVAppRepo.
BTW, JioPages (the one with the cursor) is free in my ONN Android TV Play store. Is it not in the Google TV one?
I've been looking for the apk so I can install it on my Firesticks but can't find it anywhere. All I get is the one without the cursor.

There's a reason why you need to sideload it and not just get it from the Play Store on an Android TV device: Firefox for Android has not been optimized for TVs.
You need to use an external mouse to use Firefox on Android TV/Google TV.
There used to be a TV version of Firefox for Fire TV (Chrome WebView-based, though) that mostly worked fine on Android TV just with a TV remote, but it has been discontinued.
