i bought skyworth suc9300 55inch android tv, i istalled vlc but everytime i play a movie it freezes the tv until i have to unplug it from the wall to restart tv ,i have tried sideloading vlc but it doesnt help....

Long press the power button on remote it'll shut down don't remove wall plug.
Try some other media player like KM player or MX player & see what are the results. Might be a specific problem to vlc & your model. Try using a bit older version & see if the problem is there.
