How to open recent apps in Android TV, my Smart Box is horibbly laggy
Bro, you can use tvQuickActions It allows open system recent apps and has own realization of recent apps for devices which haven't system.
Most official Certified AndroidTV and even some of the unofficial devices have disabled "Recents" from the System UI.
If connected through ADB, can use code to trigger Recents (if it has been blocked nothing will happen) :
input keyevent 187
I face this problem today ,but I solve it what you have to do is download file manager app then try to delete unwanted files you will see that you have alot off file you never see , try and see
If you’re using Bluetooth keyboard then just press Ctrl + Tab and you check all app which are open and close them.
Time to change to Android tv stick
Install Button mapper App or TVQuickActions App and use any button configuration for accessing recents.
