All that, plus the Chromecast, to get up to what a Shield has by default...hrmm
I have the 6 in 1 version of the Anker and it works perfect. Only problem I had was powering the device as all my chargers weren't working with it in the end used a battered charger from a old Microsoft Display Dock HD-500
Those should work fine although I might go for a beefier charger.

As long as the hub has usb c power in, then it will work
Use an external HDD/SSD imo. USB 3.0 connectivity ones should work fine.
