Can't download images from any browser on Android Tv. Any Options?

by viniciuscsg

Hello everyone! I have a very simple but specific need for a certain function within an app I use a lot. What I need is just the ability to open any installed web browser, find a certain image (which will work as a thumbnail), then long press it to save/download it to the device. I can't seem to find ANY android tv browser capable of doing such a simple task and it is driving me nuts.

The app works like a retro gaming frontend and loads lots of thumbnails automatically, but some rare ones must be downloaded manually to complete the album view. For those cases, it gives a convenient button to prompt an image search with the right parameters, that can be opened in any browser installed in the device. After the picture is downloaded, the app immediately retrieves it and loads to the album, it's very efficient.

I can do it without any problem on every android device I own, phone or tablet, EXCEPT in my Android TV, which is a bummer because it provides the best retrogaming experience because of the large screen coupled with a gamepad.

I have tried Firefox, Puffin browser, TV Bro, and most of the popular browser search results to no luck, not a single one seems to be able to just "long press" an image within a web page and just give me an option to download it, like one can do it on a phone. Does anyone knows of any Android Tv browser that can do just that? It can be the ugliest and clunkiest browser ever, I'll use it just for this function.

Thanks in advance for any help.
