Factory Data Reset is the appropriate fix, WIPE everything and start fresh.
Either you added a corrupted App, modified something important, or deleted something important that is corrupting the system so bad that it reverts/boots to that failsafe Recovery screen.
internal mmc or nand is failing
You may need to download the recovery image from the vendor and install it via USB. I'd try a factory reset first though.
Have u updated it via USB, as it looks like a custom ROM ,which is odd as it should be "Release - keys" which my Sony says under "Build" Would have to use Mfrs ROM,USB Burning Tool and Male 2 Male USB . Treat as if doing an Android box . Thats how I see it ,from boxes I've done .🤔
What device would this be? userdebug/test-keys shouldn't be on any commercial device.
