I have an OnePlus 43Y1, and downloaded beach buggy racing on it. On the one plus website it says we can connect PS4 controller, and when i did it connects to Bluetooth, but when i go to the game it doesn't show up as a remote or gamepad device. Moreover, when I try to install other games that need gamepad, even when the controller is connected the play store gives a notice saying gamepad is required. Is the PS4 controller not a compatible gamepad, and if I do buy another one which one is good for Android TVs?
Also are there any apps that could connect my android phone as a controller for the tv?
When shopping for a controller make sure it states "Compatible with Android."
The 8BitDo controller's are probably the best company for after market controllers.
Also, the Amazon Luna controller is suppose to be able to be used as a regular Bluetooth controller for other systems like Android/PC. If not going with an 8BitDo controller, I would try out the Luna controller which probably has good build quality that should last versus getting a random cheap unknown brand-name controller.
