Looking to create a shortcut on my Nvidia shield tv. I tried using tv app repo and while it worked fine forever the new android TV 9 doesn't allow it to create anything. Any other suggestions because I have tried them all.

In the Google Play Store for AndroidTV, there is a free app named { Nebula_Manager } made by ANKER, which can make a separate channel/row on the Homescreen to link apps that don't have TV app icons (ie. sideloaded mobile apps). The app is very basic, one thing to note is that the order you select the apps is how they will appear on the home screen, so if you have OCD and want the selected apps in alphabetical order you'll need to select them in alphabetical order from inside Nebula_Manager.
