The Android UI to too cluttered with annoying ads. Is there an APP that will allow a custom User Interface that will work for shield or firetv?
Download Flauncher
From the Google playstore
Use Button Mapper that you download from the playstore to map a button on your tv remote to open the Flauncher.
So after your fire stick or shield tv or Chromecast with Google tv turns on you hit that button and open the Flauncher.
There is also app called launcher manager with that u can select ur default launcher for once, no need of button remaper
