android tv box recommendation

Hello can someone help me find a good android tv box with 1 Gbps Ethernet capabilities

Most do not come with ethernet so your choices are going to be minimal. Either Shield, or no-name brands are about al I see. You can get USB-C Ethernet adapters with passthrough power for many and they work, but they are usually 10/100 since 100Mbps is about all you need for media.

I agree with the Nvidia Shield for sure! then you won’t have to upgrade and you’ll be extremely happy. Definitely worth paying a little bit more for and getting the right thing the first time instead of wasting money. I couldn’t be happier with getting mine the first time.

Nvidia shield hands down, media center and retrogaming/emulation beast

Depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking to game and stream HDR 10 or Dolby vision type content. Are you looking for a basic 4K streamer that will do the basics like Netflix, kodi, IPTV and other basic streaming services. If you're a power user and want to play a lot of games and have a very high-end TV then I would suggest what everyone else is suggesting and getting Nvidia shield there's no point in having three to $20,000 TV or whatever and plugging in a 10 to $30 streaming device but if you have a budget TV or maybe an under $1,000 TV that possibly doesn't have HDR 10 or Dolby vision that I recommend the Walmart ONN

U can use a otg adapter with a USB Ethernet adapter but I don't think it worth it.

I suppose knowing why u need that speed may give us a better understanding of what to recommend but if money is not really an option and $200 is a drop in the bucket then yes the obvious choice hands down without a doubt is the Nvidia shield Pro.

Shield PRO. Don’t be like me and after several years look back and realize that it would have been cheaper and better to buy the Pro initially, rather than to buy cheap sticks and boxes for years, and still end up getting the Pro. Everything just works.

There's tons of android boxes on Amazon and AliExpress with 1Gbps. All dirt cheap, but they rarely have instructions, and quality /support is questionable.

You could get a fireTV stick and Ethernet adapter.

But my vote is for shield, not pro if you don't need to run a server.

Chromecast with Google tv and buy the Ethernet charger.

If all you want is streaming get the Google TV. If you want something more powerful (eg for gaming) with more storage etc., then her the NVIDIA shield. I have both these options and they're both great!

I completely disagree but I guess I see where people could say that because it's interface is much nicer out of the box but I would spend the time to use something like kodi or something like Syncler. You seem like someone that's trying to get high quality links and pay $0 which is something I tried to do for a long time and realized spending a few dollars for something like a debride service and pairing it with something like kodi, syncler or fuck it even a tv Zion fork is much more worth it. I wish you the best of luck trying to figure it out and I'll see you once you finally spend a few dollars for good streams. Free streams are possible but it needs a little bit more work then I think you're willing to put into. You can get something like streamio to watch anything you want you probably just can't get 4k streams I don't think anywhere other than connecting a computer gives you free 4K streams be happy with shitty streams or spend some money long story short

I bought a Dynalink tv box♥. You can install Netflix, Hulu and disney+. You should choose the Right Processor; Check the Storage Option; Look for Available USB ports; Check for the Video and Display; An HDMI 2.0 is a requirement for 4K streaming. Check the Options for Network Connectivity. Determine Bluetooth Support. Check for Google Play Support. And read the product guide. The important thing is I used it in my bedroom♥
