Not sure if this is a dumb question or not, I have a Samsung HT-TX52 receiver where you can't adjust bass, treble and miss. Also, it has a few audio modes but none are phenomenal. I recently bought a Hisense U7G and have it set to Optical out.
My question is, is it possible to adjust the sound quality coming out of the TV? Like is there an app I can download that gives me that possibility? I've gone through the sound settings and nothing changes the tone.
I know optical is supposed to be "pure" sound, but since I have no settings on my receiver, I'm hoping there's a way to adjust it before it hits my receiver.

I got a U6G and there is no optical out option. The Sound Output option in settings shows TV speakers as the only possible option and Bluetooth and RCA are shown but cannot be selected and no Digital Output option at all.
