Is it possible two get different sources for Audio and Video? By sources, I mean apps or casting.
Basically, I would like to cast audio while having a YouTube video playing, or the other way around.
Is this something Android TV can do, or is there no way of getting around the "one media source" limit.
For now, I am using a hardware solution, with my TV's app playing YouTube, while I am casting Audio to my Shield TV, with my AV-Receiver mixing the two.
While this works, it's a bit annoying to get running every time.
Spotify used to but I think it was unintentional and a recent update fixed the bug. Sucks because I had learned to really enjoy it. I ended up finally using the Bluetooth function on my reciever. In another room I use an old Chromecast audio dongle I had lying around. Interested to see if anyone found a workaround.
