I treat them as dynamic backgrounds, always new things every time I turn on my TV. Whether I have the subscriptions or not, it's much better than a static screen. Never understand why people bother
I didn't mind it when I was subscribed to most of the services, so that I could actually watch the shows advertised. If you're not subscribed to the services, it's a bit of a pain.
I'm on Google TV with my Sony, and honestly I don't mind, because some recommendations were good and I discovered some new shows.
I've come around to this way of thinking about it too. Lets me know what to keep my eyes peeled for while navigating the 7 seas.
What ads? You mean that stuff at the top third of the screen that disappears as soon as you start to scroll down? Just some pretty pictures to me. Barely notice them. 90% of my screen is previews of the streaming services I choose. Can't do that with Firestick.
