I am using TCL android tv but there are many apps that I can't download on my tv from the google play store. I don't know why but it says not supported or not available. Does anyone have the same issue?

Android TV isn't directly compatible with many Android apps, so by default Google doesn't show apps that developers haven't specifically released for Android TV. You can try side-loading your desired apps, but be prepared for them to be hard to navigate, buggy, or even crash on launch.
What are the apps that you're having trouble downloading?
Video apps typically require an agreement between the app and device makers. That's why you hear about all the battles between Roku, Amazon, and Google and why every platform that supports Netflix has a Netflix button on the remote.
Android TV is not the same as Android and the list of compatible apps is comparatively tiny.
