UPDATE: I just got some extra money a couple of minutes ago!! Should I still go for the Onn or just spent the extra 25 dollars for the chromecast with Google TV?

Here in México the Chromecast with Google TV is way more expensive than those two so I'm not buying it
I just want to watch streaming apps, not gaming or anything like that
I have both. I hate my fire tv. I just keep it in a drawer at this point. The ONN box is a much better experience because of Android TV OS. You can customize your home screen to add whatever streaming services you use like Netflix or Hulu or anything else and obviously if you're using IPTV or Kodi it's also much easier and better supported. ONN 4k! I'm curious, how much is the onn 4k box in Mexico?

i have used both and i would say the onn box is cheaper and smoother i think than firestick. it works great
Fire TV's interface is seizure-inducing.
Unless you need Dolby or multiple user profiles (supposedly coming), the ONN box is hard to beat. Snappy, never needs a restart, customable home page, clock. But there is no Roku Channel app and you can't sideload it (I tried). But you can watch it via their web site. I recommend the JioPages web browser because of its Silk-like cursor and good ad blocking. You can make shortcut tiles to websites using TVAppRepo. The remote is very good and is white so you don't lose it. The IR blaster is a bit weak for some TVs but it has an internal volume control, unlike Firestick. Great for projectors.
I'd check the video and audio codecs of what each would play, but beyond that I'd choose the ONN box. Because:
1- I've never used it so am curious (of course, maybe not a reason for you)
2- It has stock AndroidTV. I don't like fiddling around with the FireOS, side loading, etc.
3- Don't want to reward Amazon.
4- Truly dislike the FireOS with the ads, prioritization of Amazon content, etc. I consider this different than #2

Do you need Dolby Vision or Atmos Audio on most streaming apps. If yes go with CCwGTV or Fire TV Stick Max. If not then the ONN UHD is the no-brainer of the year. The only real issue is you can't in any easy way add device-level storage like on the other 2. It's not really much of an issue if you are just using streaming apps.

Is it possible to use the included remote to control IR devices? I have a very similar unit produced by the same manufacturer, but I can't program IR keys on the remote. When I go to Remotes & Accessories menu, there is no program your buttons option?
