Man up and talk to roommate

Do you own the TV or does your room mate?

If you own it, and it has a detachable power cord, just take the cord out and walk away...

Block the MAC in your router.

If you have an Android phone you can install the Google TV app and use your phone like a remote to turn the TV off.

Set up schedule on the router to disconnect the internet at the time you want it down.

if its only getting signal over the internet and not through a cable wire then as said go into the router turn on the firewall if not already and add the mac address and set the times you want it blocked for then change the router login lol.

Outside the box suggestion... Can you put a lock code, or extremely strict parental control, app on the tv? I'm sure there's APKs out there you can use - if one is not available via TV Play Store. I've done some hacking and modding, so I'm confident that can be a solution for you. I just don't have kids, or roommates, so I haven't looked into it

Could you get him to just wear headphones? You can connect Bluetooth headphones to Android TV.

Ask him to wear headphones after a certain time?

You need some sort of parental control app I reckon

Add it to your google home app. Once done all you have to do is say - hey google turn off name of tv on google home app You can do this from the comfort of your bedroom.

Put a nice wet blanket over it to keep it warm at night and turn it on

I've had a ridiculous roommate situation before. Seeing as he'd be able to use a 3rd party device, or a Hotspot - for internet, I'd recommend taking the power cable or shutting off the electricity, in that area of the home - via circuit breaker. Not ideal, I know, but he won't be able to turn it on
